"Farewell Ride"
How many years
I've waited for my turn.
Waiting for a blessing,
or waiting for a burn.
Looking at my life and everything I've done.
I wanna turn back, but if only I could run.
I'd change the past
Till I breathed my last
Out from the black, with everything intact.
But it's too late now.
And I'm a part of this caste.
Moments gone fast and moments are passed.
I can't run or hide
So I just sit and fight.
While heartaches fly and spirits die.
I'm back from my grave to say goodbye
A farewell ride, I'm not living a lie.

"Time"
It's about that time again,
listen to the athan and then,
rush to pray
to bring the deeds up for another day
sit for the speech
and listen to words they say
words that enter my mind
and find a place to play
face to face
I stand before myself
everyday,
ready to make the choice
to follow shaitaan
or to run away.
its about that time again,
to make the choice, I'll be happy with Allah
cuz Allah Defends.

Listen to the sounds, ups and downs,
projected by the frowns.
Brothers and Sisters around
Why dont we help?
It's like we just sit and argue
about what's happening to me,
and whats happening to you.
We fight with our egos,
and it's clear to see...
We've lost ourselves in the praise we seek.
So Lord, just tell me...
When will come the day?
The day of Tranquility...

"Inside of Me"
Something takes control,
Inside of Me.
Something has it's hold,
And it's pulling me,
Away from what I love
Away from what I see,
With this thing inside of me,
I'm not happy with my identity.
So it's time to fight back,
Delete thoughts from the past.
All I know is that, this something...won't really last...

As I sit here...
at the foot of my bed.
I wonder...
all the things that I have said.
I've done so much....
to anger my Lord.
To fight my Ego
I clean off my spiritual sword.
As I sit here...
at the foot of my bed.
I sit and wonder
about...
the day...
that lies ahead.
