I hope you are all in good health, Insh'Allah. I'm sorry to inform my dear brothers and sisters in Islam that the production of my sophomore album "Seconds to Sunset", will be delayed. Not for long though. Insh'Allah. There have been some complications with recording hardware as well as software. I am also very busy applying to colleges and trying to finish up my senior year in high school. A full album I think will take about 3 months to complete after June 2010. Until then I will try my best to update the website and also create some simple songs. Jazak'Allah for all of the support and kindness you people shower upon me. My heart makes sincere dua for all those who have supported or even commented on my work. May Allah make us all successful.

I hope you are all in the best of health and are happy this Ramadaan. It has been a while since I wrote for this site. Since my last post, I've been taking a break. Production of my album should continue this December, InshAllah. However, I do have a track for my listeners. It's the full version of the theme song I made for an IBN youth program. The song is entitled, "Together to Jannah". It will release Eid Day, Insh'Allah. 6-3-08 - New Studio Almost Complete - Big News!
It's been a while since I've written last. And a lot has been going on. For starters the Online Free Remix of my song "Ocean" has been released. I used an un- copyrighted beat by hip hop artist Timbaland. Feedback so far has been great. Jazak'Allah for the support.
Secondly, I've been working on a theme song for a new television/web show called "Together to Paradise". The song is entitled "Together to Jannah" and will be available when the show debuts. It is the second free song to be released.
Third, the new studio is almost completed, which means the production of Seconds to Sunset will begin soon, Insh'Allah. I'm very excited and i hope you guys are too, because this new studio means fresh new tracks Insh'Allah.Hopefully, I can get one more free track done before the album releases.
Lastly, the official album covers are completed but will release before the album ( a while from now). Insh'Allah.

The following is a response to a message I received from a sister from England regarding my nasheeds.
I've decided to post it to inform those who may have similar thoughts or questions. Plus, there's additional info on the new album.
"Salaam Sis,
I'm aware of the error found in "The Search", the track is up due to the fact that it is the only song from my first album which went through the biggest production process. The song is sang correctly at my concerts but I had promised my listeners a replacement track for the song a while back. So Insh'Allah, with your dua's may i accomplish in getting that nasheed to the public.
the new album, i can assure you, is a much bigger production than the first, i now have knowledgeable ppl constantly reviewing the work that i produce. Alhumdulilah, now, I have frequent listeners and website visits so i do have to watch what i release. in words or in work. In addition to this, "The Opening" from which "The Search" comes from, wasn't really treated as an official album, but rather an introduction of my name, personality,and type of work that i do. Compared to what's ahead, its very unprofessional.The second album as you'll see when it releases, Inshallah will be mostly in english, and have ACTUAL full length songs, with much deeper lyrics, like those of "reflection". that song symbolizes a real studio production and a major step up from my old album. so with Allahs help may the rest of the album sound as good or better than that song.
Seconds to Sunset is based on the struggle of Muslims as they live life, overcoming their nafs (ego), fighting the devil, changing their ways, and finding their true self and desire to change.
throughout the songs, you'll find negativity but in the end, a sense of positivity leaving the listeners on a better note.
since the album has a lot of english, short dzkirs of Allah or arabic verses (all revised) are at the end or throughout some tracks.
Since some people wont care for this kind of work, there are plans for a new production of "Burdah", tracks with recitation of surahs, and short fragments from enlightening speeches. There are plans for much light hearted songs too. Info on that will be released later however.
all in all, i want to thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and generous compliments. may allah bless you in ur attempt to help the halaal career of one of ur fellow brothers.
even though ive heard that comment before abt the song, it warms my heart to kno that there are muslims out there who appreciate nasheeds and pay attention to exactly what it is that their listening to.

3-10-08 - Release of "Reflection"
It's finally here! My first released song in about one and a half years! Insh'Allah you guys will like it. It can be heard on my myspace for now. The single till not be sold. It's going to be free! It was a quick decision I made seeing how it will be featured on the S2S album and people will be paying for that. Paying twice is unfair so...it's free. Download arrangements will be made soon.

So a lot has been going on lately...First off, as you may have noticed already, the site address for this website is now www.almannusrat.com. I've been waiting to get that done and I finally have, thanks to Allah [swt].
Secondly, a trailer for S2S's "ReflectioN" has been released so be sure to check it out! It can be found on youtube, myspace or the video section of this site. Thanks for your support and be sure to leave comments.
Third, the preview in the video is almost the same as the preview that is playing in the background of this page. So if you don't have Quicktime, check out the youtube video.
Fourth, two versions of "ReflectioN" will be released. An a'acapella version and a version with a simple beat. That version is called
"The Reflections Remade".
Fifth, The Poetry, Bio, and Gallery have all been updated so check that out too.
And lastly, there has been recent planning for the creation of a music video! It would be for the song "ReflectioN", due soon. Insh'Allah, if things work out, the video would be made and released after the single.

1-19-08 - ALL NEW
It's been such a long time since theres been an update here, and a lot has been going on! For starters, Alman has confirmed his bonus track replacement for "None but One" will release shortly before his next album, as a teaser. Shortly after that, the single "Seconds to Sunset" will be released. Then the enire album; as of now, it's being released early 2009 or late this year. Pray for the best, Insh'Allah.
Secondly, a simple trailer has been released which contains the demo for "Allahu Allah" from S2S. It can be found on youtube by simply searching for "Seconds to Sunset" or "alman chand nusrat". Or you can always go to the video section of this site.
If you havn't heard it yet, you're pretty late, but a demo for the demo version of the "S2S" single has been released on MySpace, so have a listen and leave your comments Insh'Allah.
Lastly, in coming days/weeks this website will be hosted entirely by Alman himself, he has decided to this so that he can get closer to his listeners and let them know exactly what is going on during the production of his work.
So, Thank You for the times that you have read our posts. Surely, Alman will give this site something it didn't have before.

10-7-07 - "Allahu Allah" Track Sample
If you have Quicktime player, you are probably listening to the new track sample for Alman's new single, "Allahu Allah". It will be released online for free along side the edited version of "None But One" sometime this year, Insh'Allah. Stay tuned for both releases. "Allahu Allah" may even make an appearance on the new album, if there is good feedback!

8-16-07 - NEW ALBUM!
Alman Chand Nusrat's sophomore album previously entitled, "The Voices and The Silence", has been renamed. The new name is SECONDS TO SUNSET. Here is what Alman had to say about the new name.
"Seconds to Sunset....when I first thought of this name, I knew it had to be for the entire album, not just one song. The name symbolizes the time we have in one day, and the time we have here on Earth. Sunset could mean, the sunset during a single day, death, or Judgment Day. All three things are things we have to worry about.
It really asks the question, "How will we spend our time? Worshiping Allah [swt]? or chasing after our worldly desires?"
"How will we spend our time from each sunrise to every sunset?"

8-12-07 - NEW NEWS!
During Alman's concert, Alman had learned of a flaw within one of his his songs. In the song, "None But One". Laa Ilaha Il Allah is repeated fast. The problem is that the track sounds as if it is saying "La Ilaha Il Allah".
In Arabic, "La" means no, but not quite definite, "Laa" means a DEFINITE NO. The intention in the song was to say "Laa Ilaha Il Allah" as we all know so please keep that in mind while listening to the track, Insh'Allah.
But because of this flaw, Alman has decided to recreate "None But One" and release it online as a free download. Insh'Allah, look forward to that exclusive release.

8-12-07 - Allahu'Akbar
Alman Chand Nusrat's Official Concert took place at the FMYA [First Muslim Youth Association] Retreat Camp.
Because the concert had a late start, Alman's performance was unexpectedly shortened for 6 songs to 5. "Skies Assemble" was not sung. Responses to the concert were great, Alhumdulilah.
Alman had a great time at the camp and wishes to go to the next one, Insh'Allah.
Here are some words from Alman...
"This retreat...was something we all needed. The sense of unity that we felt was unforgettable. What we learned was understood and felt. When I leave, I know for a fact that I will leave with happiness but sadness as well. Happy for my brothers and sisters who enjoyed themselves, learned, understood, made new friends, and made each other feel at home, but sad because we will all go back to our normal lives, away from one another. (Spiritually Changed and Cleansed Insh'Allah)
I really think we have made ourselves determined to change our life styles while attending this great Camp. And for this I am so thankful and happy. Thank You FMYA, for this great opportunity!, as for my performance, I will try to do better next year, with new songs, and a earlier timing! Insh'Allah! "

8-5-07 - ANX CONCERT THIS SATURDAY
Asalaam Alaikum Wa Rahimatulahi Wa Barkatahu
An offical ANX [alman chand nusrat] performance is taking place at the annual FMYA Youth Retreat Camp on Saturday, Aug. 11. From 11:00 to 11:30. About 100 campers will be present Insh'Allah. However, the performance will be for brothers only. If any one is missing out on the camp, segments will be recorded and posted online Insh'Allah.
The performance will include Shariq Khan as being the offiial DJ for the night.
Six songs will be performed Insh'Allah. For more Information search for "alman chand nusrat performance" on the "Events" page on Facebook.com.
Albums will be sold after the show Insh'Allah with 25% or more of the total profit going to charity or masjid donations. The cost is $5.00.
50 are available in CD format. Orders can be made so that the album could be sent to you via e-mail.

7-2-07 Long Time No Update
A lot has happened since the last time this site was updated. Here's an overview.
1. Almans' Birthday was on June 4th 2007.
2. The Facebook group, Poetry Section, and Almans' Blog haven't been updated at all.
That's about it...haha.
Anyways. Alman Promises to keep the site updated from now on.

Alman's Blog - Is a weekly blog Alman writes himself, concerning personal updates on what he's working on, and an inside scoop on his new work. His thoughts about his work.

First off, Alman would like to thank all the people who have supported his career to this point.
He also prays for blessings, peace and unity between all of us.
Ameen.
Now for the BIG NEWS...
Faisal Quadri, a huge supporter of Alman's work, has done a lot to promote.
May Allah bless him for his actions. Ameen.
He sent an e-mail to the majority of the Islamic Community near or around Stamford, Norwalk, and Fairfield, CT.
He also contacted a correspondent for GEO TV, an Islamic TV channel. Alman is looking into the matter as of now, but if more albums are sold and a bigger profit is made. You may see him on TV soon. Insh'Allah
Secondly, Faisal has discussed publishing an article based on Alman in the very popular and widely read MSA newsletter.
There are no more details as of now.

4-20-07 Songs up, Prices down
After discussing it with his management and production partners, Alman has confirmed that there will be 14 tracks on "The Opening" album, instead of 12. And the cost will be $5.00. Instead of $6.00. The two tracks are remixes meaning songs with beats. Some turn tables, alman says, were added for fun. The tracks are remixes of Nabi-Un-Nabi and Frequency. Albums will be on sale soon. Check out the new back of the album in the media section.

4/15/07 "The Opening" album RELEASED!
The anticipated debut album "The Opening" has finally released. As mentioned before, the album will feature 14 tracks, four from the unreleased "My Submission" album and the rest from the exclusive alman nusrat demo tape. Alman says the four songs from the "My Submission" album are the only ones that have good quality and are actually full length songs. The rest, coming from the demo tape, he says, "are a little off", meaning the vocals may not be perfect seeing how the demo tape was just a mere project. But despite these facts, the demo tape got good feedback, resulting in the publication of this album. Alman promises a better album in the future referring to "The Voices and The Silence", which is already in progress. Be sure to have a listen to "Skies Assemble", the single from the sophomore album. It can be heard on the alman chand nusrat official MySpace [link is in Navigation Bar]. The album can be ordered soon, but for now it will be sold at Alman's performances. The cost is $5.00. 50% of the total profit after each performance will go to charity or to help the construction of a local mosque. The location of Alman's performances will be posted as soon as they are confirmed.

THE WAIT IS OVER, AGAIN! "THE OPENING" album will feature songs from the demo tape and unreleased "My Submission" album. Twelve tracks in all. The cost will be 5 dollars and a portion of the income will be for charity. The album covers can be seen in the media section.

"Skies Assemble" RELEASED! 4/1/07
THE WAIT IS OVER! THE BRAND NEW SINGLE, "SKIES ASSEMBLE" FROM THE SOPHOMORE ALBUM: "THE VOICES AND THE SILENCE" RELEASED YESTERDAY MORNING!
Fans got to download the single as soon as it released but unfortunately it is not available for download anymore. You can listen to the full song at www.myspace.com/almannusrat and listen to a 30 sec. sample on this site in the media section.
Alman says the lyrics may be difficult to digest, just like some of the other songs soon to release. But he also stated that there is no need to worry because every song has a special meaning and explanation.
The full explanation and lyrics for the song "Skies Assemble" will be posted by next week Insh'Allah. Until then we all hope you enjoy the new song.
NOTE: The song "Skies Assemble" utilizes drums and piano.
This is one of the predicted 4 songs on the new album to feature piano. The rest will have either drums or only vocals.

Second being the alman chand nusrat MySpace of coarse...As of now there is not much on this site but updates are coming real soon, all of which will be listed here, so be sure to revisit frequently. If you haven't all heard yet, alman's album "My Submission" stopped production several months ago. As of now, he's working very hard on the NEW album officially entitled, "the voices and the silence". Alman says,
"The title symbolizes the world and our society together... "The voices" symbolize politics, war, music and entertainment [topics discussed on a everyday basis] while the silence represents the poor people in the world, the people who face struggles, and long for freedom and devotion to God, especially our unfortunate and very dear Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe. The songs on this album may not strictly concern these topics but I chose this name for it in hopes that people will lend a hand to others. To me, it doesn't matter if your Sunni, Shia, Christian, or Jewish....the Qur'aan teaches us to help one another especially the Muslim Ummah."
